Oaks North Senior Community San Diego

The largest 55+ community in Rancho Bernardo San Diego, is no doubt, Oaks North. Oaks North is an active adult community and golf community. There are many different types of homes, condos and townhomes in Oaks North, including the same on the golf course. There are probalby at least 10 different subdivisions in Oaks North, and many can be had right on the golf course and or offer great golf course views. Oaks North has about as many social and other type of activities you could ever dream of. Theres swim and tennis, and much more.  The biggest turn off of living in Oaks North is the higher HOA fees for all the fun stuff that Oaks North has to offer. Seven Oaks 55+ Homes Rancho Bernardo

Seven Oaks is a simpler 55+ community just down the road from Oaks North, about 1 mile to the south.  I think Seven Oaks probably represents one of the better buys and seems to be pretty attractive to retirees and flippers too! Many of the  homes in Seven Oaks are outdated, and the trend now seems to be home improvement and remodels. The HOA fees are very low comparbly which makes it that much more appealing. I'd definitley suggest looking at all Seven Oaks 55+ Homes For Sale Rancho Bernardo.


Del Sur 55+ New Construction Homes in 92127


Del Sur is located on the west side of the 15 freeway and is considered to be one of the coolest andmost sought after new communities in North County San Diego. There are two 55+ communities worth looking at, Auberge at Del Sur, and Skye 55 + Homes Del Sur San DIego, these are BRAND NEW 55+ Homes San Diego. These homes have elevators and are modern, and you can walk to many local eateries and shopping, a huge plus for 55+ living, I guess.

4S Ranch offers a variety of attached and detached price points. 4S Ranch Condos For Sale and 4S Ranch Townhomes can be found anywhere from $475,000- $750,000, give or take. You can mainly find single family homes in 4S Ranch North, the area of 4S Ranch that is most dense, anywhere from the high 800's to 1.3 and on the south side of 4S Ranch you can expect to find larger homes on larger lots from 1.1-1.6 ish.

Neighborhoods & Subdivsions of 4S Ranch San Diego 

There are are over 30 subdivisions in 4S Ranch, so it can be hard to keep up! I've outlined the various subdivsions below.

4S Ranch North of Bernardo Center Drive. Starting North at the Mountain and heading south

  • Monteluz at 4S Ranch-  Monteluz is a located in a serene part of 4S Ranch, just at the foothill, surrounded by nature. Streets in Monteluz include: Galena Canyon Road, Hunters Ridge Place, Alva Road, Red Tail Road. Some of these homes have really nice views and elevations.
  • Andalusia at 4S Ranch-  These homes are on a bit larger lots, almost as big as Monteluz. Streets in Adalusia at 4S Ranch include: Ralphs Ranch Rd, Blakegranite Drive, Teal Stone, Black Opal Rd, Blue Granite, streets which seem to be named after STONE?
  • Evergreen and Pienza at 4S Ranch- Two small subdibvisions in between Adalusia and Maybeck subdivision. Streets here, are located off Alva Road, include: Ricahrd Rd, Rose Dusty Glen Dr, and Eagle Caynon Road
  • Maybeck at 4S Ranch . Streets here include 4S Ranch Parkway, Monterey Ridge Dr, Eagle Canon Place. If you look on the map of this subdivision ( #8 on map provided) it is a subdivsion that is literall almost a perfect square or rectangle, where all the lots appear to be the exact same size, easy to comp out!
  • Chanteclair at 4S Ranch is located nes to Maybeck and Pienza, and butts up against Bernardo Point ( not 4S Ranch) Streets here include Monterey Ridge Way, Albert Pl and Monterey Ridge DR. Chanteclair also butts up next to MONTEREY RIDGE ELEMENTARY in Poway Unified School District. 
  • Travata and Evergreen at 4S Ranch- These two subdivisions are located at the foothills of 4S Ranch, which backs up to open space and Salvatti at Santa Fe Valley ( Rancho Bernardo Gated Communities) Travata offers a few deep and larger lots retrospectively. 
  • Silouette at 4S Ranch - Silouette Homes in 4S Ranch are locarted off Paseo De Linda Road and live in the very heart of 4S Ranch. It butts up to the Maybeck, Travata and Slivercrest Tract, and is also next to MONTEREY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, including the main drag in 4S Ranch, that has lots of cool things to do and has a very cool  design.   • Rosemary Lane at 4S Ranch is a popular tract where yu can walk to everything in 4S Ranch, like to the 4S Commons Shopping Center. Streets in Rosemary Lane at 4S Ranch include Siver Pine Road, Silver Pine Way, Silver Crest Dr and Sivler Crest Lane. 

4S Ranch Condos For Sale & 4S Ranch Condo Developments- There are 6 tracts of condos all grouped together in the heart of 4S Ranch, including:

The southern section of 4S Ranch, located south of Camino Del Norte, offers a different lifestyle, well sort of, compared to the other side of 4S Ranch. This part of 4S Ranch is surrounded by schools, lots of open space, including the 4S Ranch Sports Park and Boys and Girls Club and Lake. In this part of 4S Ranch, homes are located on wider streets, homes have sidewalks and are more traditional dwellings, compared to the North part of 4S Ranch which is much more dense. Homes in this area offer many cul-de-sacs, and ridgelines, where many subdivsions offer great views. The following are subdivisions in 4S Ranch South where you will find 4S Ranch Homes For Sale from 1.-1.5 million dollars. 

  • Talavera at 4S Ranch- 4S Ranch High End Homes many with fantastic views. 
  • Providence at 4S Ranch- Sister neighborhood to Talavera, these homes sit above 4S Ranch Sports Complex, baseball and soccer fields, and offer KILLER VIEWS. Prices are most like in the 1.3-1.5 mill price range and around 3500+ sq ft.
  • Ryland Heritage, Amherst
  • Summerwood/ Tanglewood tracts in 4S Ranch- Tanglewood is behind Del Norte High School and has a community pool! These neighborhood have tiny lots and almost share a common exterior wall. 
  • Garden Gate at 4S Ranch- 
  • Homestead at 4S Ranch - Next to 4S Ranch Homestead Park 
  • Legacy, Belle Rive, Canyon Ridge, and Palomino at 4S Ranch
  • Avery Lane, Cambridge, Terreno at 4S Ranch

Homes For Sale in Veradero Lake San Marcos

Veradero is a gated neighborhood that sits high above Lake San Marcos CA. Even thought prices are in the low 1 million dollar range, they are stil in high demand. I think this communty  has a lot going for it. Homes For Sale in Veradero San Marcos typically are single story,  and most  have fantastic views. The views are really what seperates Veradero Homes San Marcos, from the competition. Since Homes in Veradero San Marcos sit on top of hill, there are 3 different views, Lake Views, Southern Views and Western Views. All of these view homes offer amazing sunsets. I'll be taking some aerial photos soon of this neighborhood and will add them to this post, very soon. 

Also, these homes are in demand because of the awesome lifetyle living in Veradero has to offer. he community has a nice swimming pool and it’s a perfect spot to take a walk ( if you don’t mind a decent size hill to start off, that is). There is a lot to do right there at Lake San Marcos, so you will hardly get bored. You can golf, get to the beach in 15 minutes, go to restaurant row San Marocs, shopping nearby etc.
